The South Florida Association for Young Children acknowledges that the family is the child's first teacher.
Teachers must work side by side in parternship with families to make sure that the needs of the children are being met.
We must recognize that the families cultural, ethnic, and linguistic background are important parts of the child that need to be intregrated into the classroom. SFAYC is committed to supporting parent education with a focus of parent involvement in every child's educational experience.
