My name is Bibi Hack. I have had the wonderful opportunity of being a Pre-K teacher at REM Learning Center for almost six years. I have an Associates of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education and I am currently pursuing the Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have participated in numerous trainings including Reading is Fundamental (RIF) and Conscious Discipline by Dr. Becky Bailey.
I am always eager to learn more about early childhood education so I was thrilled when REM made it possible for my co-workers and I to attend the NAEYC conference last November in Orlando. I left with a wealth of knowledge and further insight into this exciting world of early childhood education.
It may sound cliché when I say that I am passionate about children. But it is exactly how I feel. I cannot think of a better place to be, than in my classroom with the little people who help to transform me so that I can get in touch with my inner child each day. I am thankful for the bond that I am able to make with the children. They give me endless love and make me laugh even when I aught to be serious. I believe it is imperative that we connect with each child and empower them to reach their potential. As Benjamin Franklin said, “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn”.
